Admission is free and open to all students eligible to attend public school in Los Angeles. If applications exceed capacity, a lottery will be used to select students. To have your child put on this year's waiting list or to request an application, please call (323) 954-9957 or email admissions@brightstarschools.org.

** Students and parents must sign a Commitment to Excellence contract. **

• Students who already know that they want to get ready for college and want a school that will prepare them for a college-prep high school education.
• Students who know that hard work pays off and are willing to be at school from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily, and up until 6:30 p.m. if they come to us behind grade level.
• Students whose parents know that they are an integral and essential part of their child's education and are willing to share their own time and energy to make Bright Star Schools the best school it can be.
• Students and parents who look forward to complying with Bright Star Schools' strict policies on uniforms, homework, activities, trips, food on campus, attendance, behavior, and discipline.
• Students who want to become better readers, problem solvers, and citizens.
